A, gomen. Doushiyou... ‘Oops, I’m sorry. What should I do?’

B: いいよ、いいよ、大丈夫。

Iiyo, iiyo, daijobu. ‘Oh, no, it’s fine.’

A: いや、だめだめ。 洗って 返すから。 ほんと、 ごめん。

Iya, dame dame. Aratte kaesukara. Honto, gomen. ‘Oh, no, I’ll wash it and give it back to you. I’m really sorry.’

B: ううん、気にしないで。

Uun, kini shinaide. ‘No, never mind.’

A: いや、ほんとに洗って返すから。

Iya, hontoni aratte kaesu kara. ‘No, I’ll wash it and give it back to you.’

B: 本当?

Hontou? ‘Really?’

A: うん。

Un. ‘Yeah.’

B: 悪いね。

Waruine. ‘I feel bad/I’m sorry.’
