Situation 1: Dialogue 1

従業員Ａ：あら、鈴木君、そのＴシャツかっこいいじゃない。 Ara, Suzuki-kun, sono tiishatsu kakkoii janai. ‘Oh, Suzuki-kun, your T-shirt is neat.’

従業員Ｂ：あ、そうですか。昔行ってた大学の古いＴシャツなんですけどね。 A, soudesuka. Mukashi itteta daigakuno furui tiishatsu nandesu kedone. ‘Oh, really? It’s an old T-shirt from a college I went to.’

従業員Ａ：何年ぐらいいってたの？ Nannen gurai ittetano? ‘How many years were you there?’

従業員Ｂ：昔、一年だけ。 Mukashi ichinen dake. ‘Just a year, a long time ago.’
