Graduate Minor in ESL

Graduate students currently enrolled in other graduate programs at the University of Minnesota may apply for a minor in ESL. To complete the minor, you must take the following three courses: TESL 5721 (ESL Methods), TESL 5401 and TESL 5402 (Language Analysis I and II). (Note that all three courses have LING 5001 as a prerequisite.) There are no other requirements for the minor, although you must declare your intention to minor in ESL on your Degree Program form and have the Director of Graduate Studies in ESL sign the form.
